Salt Analyzer Instructions

Introduction

 

Too much salt in human’s diet will easily lead hypertension. Researches show over10 grams of salt in human’s daily diet has higher chances of causing hypertension. Human body should aim at taking leas than 10 grams of salt daily.  The salt analyzer uses conductivity test to measure the salt concentration in liquid food. Thus, the salt content can be derived to control the daily intake of salt and maintain health. The equipment features in touch pad control, seven red LED indicators, green LED power indicator, easy operation and simple use. It is good for your health care.

Description of Functions

 

  Please refer to the figure showing parts of the analyzer for description of functions.

               ON push buttonpress the button to power on, then it is ready for measurement.

 

Description of Use

 

n         Check the cleanness of the probe. Useneutral detergentfor cleaning.

n         Put the sample in a container with a certain liquid level.

n         Press power button ON. The green power light should be on. If not, it is low battery power and battery replacement is required.

n         Put the probe under the liquid surface by at least 2 cm and keep a distance of at least 1-cm from the container wall. When the indicator light is stable, take the highest reading as the measured value.

n         When the measurement is completed, use neutral detergent for cleaning the probe.

Formula: Salt content =Total quality & quantity × concentration

               Example: Total quality & quantity of glass of solution is 150g and its concentration is 0.5%

150g× 0.5% = 0.75g

 

Notes for Battery Change

 

  1. Remove batter cover and

     take out four used

     batteries and dispose

     them properly. Keep

     out of reach of children

         (as shown in Figure).      

  1. Put fourV new alkaline batteriesback to battery compartment (as shown in Figure).  

 

Maintenance

Cleaning

n         Use clean water to rinse or cloth with neutral detergent to clean the probe.

n         Do not use water or clothe with neutral detergent to clean the main unit.

n         Do not use alcohols, diluents and gasoline to clean the probe and the main unit.

Storage

n         Avoid falling of shaking of the equipment. Otherwise, malfunction may occur.

n         Keep out of heat, direct sunlight exposure and dampness.

n         Remove batteries when the equipment is not used for a long time.
