TheVL 3000includes all of the essential functions required for the highest level of measurement and accurate checking of corrective lenses. But, theVL 3000offers significantly more. In fact, the VL 3000 offers three different modes to help you save time and money.

This user-friendly lensmeter includes a color screen, easy to use push buttons, on-line help and is available and localized in 11 different languages. Finally, you can offer better service to your customers.

 
What you can expect in Lensmeter Mode

Lensmeter

While working in lensmeter mode, you can rapidly locate and measure the optical center of the lens. This is critical when measuring large batches of lenses. This operation only takes a few seconds.

In addition, the design of theVL 3000allows the position of the axis and of the optical center to be precisely located and marked with the highest level of accuracy. This precision eliminates costly errors before edging begins.

The sphere, cylinder and axis values are prominently displayed and prism and prismatic angle are also given.

Finally, the guided search for the addition measurement of progressive lenses is accomplished easily and quickly.

Mapping of a Lens

  • Rapid detection in single vision lenses of unknown characteristics (spherical or torical etc.). This is illustrated through our special color mapping system
  • Quick reading of the measurements for sphere, cylinder and axis
  • Design check and analysis of channel width on progressive lenses. This valuable information helps you decide which lens is most suitable for customer based on their specific sight requirements

Mapping of a fitting for single vision lenses

  • Visual representation of the final product can be viewed and the final frame can be checked
  • In one measurement, all mechanical and optical characteristics for both eyes are shown in one picture, including horizontal and vertical pupillary distances for single vision frames, as well as spherical, cylinder, axis and prism measurements

 

Mapping of a fitting for progressive lenses

  • Accurate measurement of all optical information including the addition and the direction of the channel, as well as PD measurements
  • View of schematic representation (identical for each lens, regardless of power) outlining the direction of the progressive corridor
