VWR Signature™ Pulsing Vortex Mixer

Designed for glass bead procedures and capable of complete cell disruption in minutes. Unique pulsing action reduces heat generation while producing excellent grinding action. Mixer includes an easy-to-load holder for twelve 1.5mL or 2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes. The micro-tube holder has a built-in cup head which allows the mixer to be used as a standard vortex mixer during the touch mode. Mixer also has a microprocessor controller with a digital interface that features independent LED displays for both speed and time for accuracy. Displayed time counts up during continuous operation and counts down during timed runs.
