三价铬比色测定器操作方法

First, analyze content of chromic acid per liter in coating bath with chromic acid analyzer (a special purpose Baume scale for testing chromic acid can also be used to test concentration of total chrome)

Then find out the volume of electroplating solution that shall be extracted by trivalent chromium colorimetric tube analyzing table and extract the appropriate amount with a pipette, fill it in the colorimetric test tube, add pure water to the graduation line and shake it up evenly.

Put the colorimetric tube in the colorimetric box, use a fluorescent light purchased by the buyer to match the size of colorimetric box (irradiate from the rear side of a foggy surface). Comparing with the standard tube and find out the number of the standard tube with the same color, then find out the figure that the number of the standard tube intersects with chromic acid by the trivalent chromium colorimetric tube, and the figure will be the content of trivalent chromium in a kiloliter of chromic acid ( If 240g/l chromic acid is the same as the standard tube No.2 after color comparison, trivalent chromium will be 2.4g/l).

If chromic acid is 240g/l, 8.3cc electroplating solution shall be used. If the content of chromic acid is the same, the more approaching figure of electroplating solution shall be adopted e.g. 8cc electroplating solution shall be extracted for 250g/l.

注意事项:

Prepare chrome plating solution that is taken out for colorimetric analysis, impurity had better be filtered with a filter paper first, then a colorimetric analysis and judgment shall be made.

After testing and analysis of chrome plating solution, the more accurate data of content of chromic acid, there will be less impurity in the chrome plating solution and relative colorimetric error will be smaller, namely, the content of trivalent chromium will be more accurate.

 Trivalent chromium colorimetric assay is a conventional method, in this way, chrome plating solution is easy to be influenced by dirt (including colorimetric comparison process, e.g. value of errors will be resulted from irradiating angle, factor of brightness and subjective or objective judgment of colorimetric value by the analyzer).

After use, the container shall be cleaned and dried as soon as possible, and the trivalent chromium colorimetric box and colorimetric tube shall also be kept clean and tidy.
