一、用途及特点
Y型过滤器是通过编制网和冲压钢板（滤网）过滤元件，机械地（在机械力的作用下）将固体介质从流动的液体或气体提取出来的装置。本产品主要用于在管路中保护设备 ,如：泵，公尺,控制阀门,蒸汽存水弯和调整器（校正仪）。 尽管偶遇例外,对Y型过滤器的使用通常遵从一些规则。 首先，它通常用于分离介质数量很小的情况。 尺寸型号一一对应,它的污垢存储容量少于一个网篮过滤器。 其次，Y型过滤器的安装通常在过滤器的清洁不是很频繁的情况，有的过滤器用于蒸汽管路中。Y型过滤器的优点在于其能垂直或水平安装。一些生产厂商为了节省材料和成本采取减少过滤器尺寸的办法。在安装Y型过滤器之前，要保证它的大小能够处理流体介质。
