气缸的品种

根据行程可读出气缸承担任务的要求来选择气缸的品种。如要求气缸到达行程终端无冲击现象和撞击噪声，应选择缓冲气缸；如要求重量轻，应选择轻型气缸；要求安装空间窄且行程短，可选择薄型气缸；有横向负载，可选带导杆气缸；要求制动高，应选锁紧气缸等。

对空气质量的要求

要使用清洁干燥的压缩空气。空气中不得含有机溶剂的合成油、盐分、腐蚀性气体等，以防缸、阀动作不良。安装前，连接配管内应充分吹洗，不要将灰尘、切削末、密封带碎片等杂质带入缸、阀内。

2.对使用环境的要求

行程可读出气缸在灰尘多、有水滴的场所，杆侧应带伸缩防护套，安装时，不要出现拧扭状态。不能使用伸缩防护套的场所，应选用带强力防尘圈的气缸或防水气缸。

3.关于气缸的润滑

给油润滑气缸，应配置流量合适的油雾器。

4.关于气缸的负载

活塞杆上通常只能承受轴向负载。要避免在活塞杆上施加横向负载和偏心负载。有横向负载时，活塞杆上应加导向装置，或选用到导杆气缸
