简介
旋转桨式黏度计是克雷布斯式黏度计,是测定非牛顿材料黏度的有用工具。由于大多数油漆都是非牛顿液体,因此本黏度计广泛应用于油漆工业。
非牛顿材料的黏度,会随剪切速率的变更而变更,但用旋转桨式黏度计作测定时,是依靠那在一定剪切速率下所作的测量来进行的。
原理
将桨插入一装有试样的容器中,用由向下降落的砝码所引起的恒定的转矩使桨叶旋转,进而计算相关的试样粘度。
测量方法
通过增加砝码,使桨叶的转速调整到正好200rpm为止。读出这时所加的砝码总重量,即为测量涂料的粘度值。

Krebs Viscometer Ref 407/
The viscosity of non-Newtonian materials depends upon the shear rate applied. The rotating paddle exerts a constant rate of shear by means of falling weight, the size of this weight being relative to the viscosity. The weight is gradually increased until a paddle rotation of 200 RPM is achieved.
This speed is displayed on either an LCD display or indicated via a stroboscope.
