灼热丝试验仪适用于照明设备、低压电器、家用电器、机床电器、电机、电动工具、电子仪器、电工仪表、信息技术设备、电气事务设备、电气连接件和辅件等电工电子产品及其组件部件的研究、生产和质检部门，也适用于绝缘材料、工程塑料或其它固体可燃材料行业。

Application - Firehazard testing

 

 

Principle - Thetester serves to investigate the fire-resistant properties of materials and endproducts. The glow-wire itself is the source of fire. The temperature of theglow-wire is set and controlled by a temperature controller. During a test thetemperature controller can be operated in a manual mode to generate a definedvoltage signal on the manipulated variable (glow-wire), thus avoiding afeedback of the reference variable (thermocouple) on the temperaturecontroller. The temperature of the glow-wire can be set from room temperatureto 1000℃. The temperature of theglow-wire is detected by a sheathed thermocouple type K (class 1) in accordancewith IEC 60584-2.

During the testthe specimen is moved at a constant velocity of 11 mm/sec toward the glow-wireand back. The heating time of 30 sec is quartz controlled. The specimen supportis pulled toward the glow-wire with a force of 1 N. The power supply is 230 VAC
