User Manual of Digital Salt Concentration Tester
【Introduction】
People usually ingest excessive salt from their diet, and this may cause hypertension. According to investigations, daily ingestion of more than 10 grams of salt can increase the opportunity of hypertension, so a person shall take in the salt below 10 grams. Using the method of electric conductivity, this product tests salt concentration of liquid food, calculates the salt content, and effectively control the daily ingestion of salt by human body, thus achieving the purpose of health care. Light-touch key operation, digital display of concentration, low power indication, saving power, simple operation, easy use, suitable for health care in common families.
【Part Name】
①Moveable soup ladle ④ Main body
②Probe ⑤Button
③LCD sheet ⑥Batter cover
【Function Instructions】
For icons of function instructions, please refer to names and icons of parts.
① Container of liquid tested
② Testing salt concentration
③ Displaying salt concentration:0%~0.7%(appropriate);0.7%~1.1%(strong);1.1%~2.0%(very strong)。
⑤ ON/OFF button, used to test after pressing the button and supplying power.
【Operating Instructions】
n Inspect whether the salt tester probe is clean. If not, please wipe it with clear water, and fix the moveable soup ladle.
n After pressing the salt tester ON/OFF switch, observe the LCD sheet. LO indicates the battery has low voltage and shall be replaced.
n Put the tested solution into the moveable soup ladle, with the salt tester probe at least below the solution.
n Press the salt tester ON/OFF switch to conduct the testing, with the inspection value shown on the LCD after 5 seconds.
n After the test, remove the moveable soup ladle, and clean the tester probe with clear water.
【Performance and Specification】
Object tested:Aqueous solution (food/water, etc.)
Measuring range:0%~2.0%
Measuring accuracy:±0.15% (0.0%~0.7%)
Applicable temperature range: 20℃~80℃
Power input:4×1.5=6V LR44×4
Working current:MAX 20mA
Dimensions:270×34×20 (mm)
Weight:Approx. 65 g
Calculation formula:salt content = total mass×concentration
Example:One cup of solution has the mass of 150g, with the concentration of 0.5%
150g×0. 5%= 0.75g
【Method of batter replacement】
n When the tester has under voltage, LCD shows LO, indicating that the battery is short of power and needs replacement. Pull open the battery cover, take out the four batteries from the battery pack. Please place the batteries in a location without children’s reach.
n Put four new alkali 1.5V batteries or equivalents in the battery pack. Replace the battery cover to the salt concentration tester body and make it in place (as shown in the figure).
【Maintenance】
Cleaning:
▇ Remove the moveable soup ladle, and clean the probe with clear water or a cloth soaked in neutral detergent(as shown in the figure).
n Never clean the main body of the unit with clear water or a cloth soaked in neutral detergent.
n Never clean the probe and main body of the unit with alcohol, thinner or gasoline.
Storage:
n Prevent it from drop or strong shock, and this may cause failure to the salt concentration tester.
n Keep the unit away from high temperature, direct sunshine or damp.
n If the unit not in use for a long time, take out the batteries.
