Glossmeters for Curved Surfaces

OurNovo-Curveinstruments use a narrow beam of light to accurately measure the gloss of convex and concave surfaces. They can also be used to measure flat surfaces and areas which are too small to measure with standard glossmeters.

When you measure a curved surface with a normal gloss-meter, the light beam is scattered by the concave or convex surface giving a much lower and false reading for gloss.

TheNovo-Curvealso has a special optical arrangement that allows accurate measurement of curved surfaces with a very small radius of curvature. The Novo-Curve Lite is a portable, hand-held device for measuring the gloss of larger items that cannot be measured with theNovo-Curve.

Optional Extra

The detachableCylinder measurement Jiggives improved repeatability for cylindrical objects from 5mm radius up to 100mm. Foam baffles exclude ambient light and hold the cylinder in optimum measurement position. The Jig is fully adjustable and can be used for cylinders from 5mm- 100mm radius.
