ANSI/ASME):
00 — generally equivalent to grade 1 (most exacting flatness and accuracy requirements)
0 — generally equivalent to grade 2
AS-1 — generally equivalent to grade 3 (reportedly stands for American Standard - 1)
AS-2 — generally less accurate than grade 3
K — generally equivalent to grade 00 flatness (parallelism) with grade AS-1 accuracy
块规因用途的不同,其亦不同,00级为块规中精密者,专用于试验室的研究及检验各种块规或仪器等工作。0级为机械工业中的标准,用于仪器量规的校正用。1级为制造精密工具或检验工具时使用。2级为工厂中使用较精密工件及检验时使用。由于制造00级块规的过程相当复杂且费时,仅为校正块规单位采用,需求量较少,晚近长度测量仪器精密度已大大提升,因此目前00级已渐渐被K级所取代,K级为校正级,其平行度许可差为00级,尺寸许可差为0级,如此制造过程简化且保持,K级块规为块规制造厂商所采用方式。
